what the heck whitelist?!?!

why is there whitelist now that is just not fair c'mon realy? if you tell me the reason you did it i might not delete the server ok?

There is whitelist to stop everyone from joining. Last night when we were testing things and getting it up to date. During that time several people including siggi701 griefed everything around spawn. Due to the plugins not working we had no real way stop him while we were updating(we didn't see it untill it was too late). Spawn is destroyed along with the hotel and several houses in the area. I am now debating whether or not I should even bring it back up at all. Even if i jump to a backup, EVERYONE will lose a huge amount of stuff. For what i pay per month I'm starting to feel like it's no longer worth running this server. I may start a fresh one with some elements of this map in the near future but I really don't know what to do at this point. Lot of tough decisions to make.
